Harkat is an independent film production house, an international boutique arts studio passionate about behind-the-scenes and title sequences, an alternative performance space and an artist run analog film lab.
Harkat is an independent film production house geared towards making cinema that is meaningful, kind and emotionally generous. A boutique arts studio with passionate interests in title sequences, film marketing content & behind-the-scenes videography and photography; an alternative arts & performance space which is home to fringe artists; and an artist-run analog film lab making Indian experimental films. We are a collective of passionate storytellers from very diverse backgrounds, all bound together by the love of sustaining an arts space which in-turn supports our collective dreams.
We like to engage meaningfully for each project, on an equal level between briefs and artists, doers and dreamers. We are hands-on, no-frills, nice human being looking for the same in our clients. We balance our hunger and drive to do more, while also taking a contemplative mountain walk.

The Harkat team functions like a collective of artists and organisers rolled together, all from very diverse backgrounds and specialties, bound together by a mutual understanding of love, art and meaning making. It is led by Karan Suri Talwar and Michaela Talwar. We dream and make things happen.
